10 Things I Learned This Week

Once again I am joining in Musings of a Housewife What I've Learned this week Carnival. If you haven't checked you her out you should. Shes a great blogger and more importantly a great lady.

So the ten things I learned this week

  1. That I completely baffled by my dear Mr E. He wanted (read would have it no other way) to own a home with land and trees. We now sit on .8 acres which is a good bit of land not a lot no, but it has trees and a yard for the kids. But he doesn't want to take care of the land...(read I am the one left to rake, remove limbs and small trees from the yard because he is to lazy to do so)
  2. That despite my husbands lack of interest in yard work I do still love him.
  3. I've also learned that even thinking of throwing a holiday party for Mr E's coworkers is a lot of hard work, we have comfortable seating for 16....and that is how many people he has working with him, but this doesn't include spouses or children. Mmmmm dilemma?
  4. That craigslist now requires you to have an account to post furniture to sale by owner...and its still not letting me post!
  5. Paperbackswap.com is the bees knees!!!
  6. That raking for 3 hours and exercising for one all in day is a bit much. Can we say OW!
  7. that cleaning up after coloring with markers can be more fun for a 2 yr old then actually coloring with markers.
  8. That I did not move far enough north to escape the heat. (or my MIL lol) (nah shes a great woman )
  9. For some reason a Diamond Baseball Skills company is using our old address that is VACANT for people to send camp checks to and they are getting forwarded to us. I've gotten 3 check in two days for $125...what would happen to these people if it was forwarded to someone who wasn't honest?
  10. That I think I have a slight case of insomnia I can't seem to go to bed before 12:30am ever..even when I can or should..my brain just doesn't want to stop.
